I feel as though we are in the home stretch of Summer.
Rushing around with the kids, getting them to all their responsibilities and activities.
And attempting to have a little fun in the process.
On the blogging front, I returned home from a wonderful weekend in Atlanta where I attended Haven, a Home/DIY blogging conference. I must say that it was simply fabulous! (And I’m currently working on a post, spilling all the juicy details!) I returned home quite motivated and ready to really whip my house into shape. I’m going to try really hard to focus on one room at a time and finish it instead of skipping around with random projects. (Like I usually do.) So the first room that needs some love is our home office. We all use it daily and it isn’t very functional, to be quite honest.
First up: building a simple desk and painting the walls.
So, last night I found myself on Pinterest (just to check, of course) and became a little distracted by the amazing closet above. I like the idea of the open space filled with light instead of a Hobbit-like hole where you practically need to arm yourself with a flashlight in order to find something decent to wear.
So, now I’m thinking of closets…
And what about you? Do you tend to focus on one room at a time or is your style more in the canine realm, where you are easily distracted by every shiny new thing? (Squirrel!)
