Seeing your favorite band perform live.
The energy. The excitement. The music. The T-shirts.
Yes, bringing home a souvenir concert tee to celebrate the fabulous evening is an absolute must. Or even if the concert wasn’t so fabulous, you’ll want a shirt. Unfortunately, I didn’t always follow my own advice and have somewhat regretted it later. I mean, how great (or lame in a good way) would a Michael Bolton concert shirt be? Especially with him sporting his mullet. And yes, I passed that one up.
Now, a concert tee isn’t serious, important or necessary. But it’s just frivolous, cool and fun. Especially as time goes by.
And don’t toss out your old concert tees from back in the day, either. Sorry, Def Leppard and Motley Crue! You (or your kids) will definitely enjoy them down the line. It’s vintage, yo! And just a fun little part of pop culture.
So what about you? Have you faithfully kept your old band shirts? You know that Justin Bieber tee will be a hit with your future grandkids.
