I appreciate design that tends to have an element of the unexpected.   Spaces that appear collected from different styles and portraying a sense of interest.  That’s one reason why I’m crushing on this simple, but stylish dining room by designer Lindy Allen of Four Hands Furniture.  Lindy paired up with Cadence Homes and designed their show house for the 2012 Utah Valley Parade of Homes.  The talented shutterbugs at Hiya Papaya covered the photography.

The whole house is simply lovely with beautiful touches, a pretty color palette and a playful attention to detail.
